Bursa Technical University Robotics Technologies and Intelligent Systems Application and Research Center (BTÜ-ROTASAM) was established to conduct research and development activities in the field of robotics technologies and intelligent systems.

The center's objectives are as follows:

• To collaborate both nationally and internationally for interdisciplinary research and technology applications in the fields of robotics technologies and smart systems.
• To conduct scientific studies on robotics technologies and smart systems, provide laboratory environments for undergraduate and graduate courses related to the field, and support education, graduation projects, and postgraduate thesis work.
• To encourage, organize, and share applicable results with relevant sectors regarding cooperation in robotics technologies and smart systems between the university, industry, business world, and non-governmental organizations.
• To work on solving technical problems, especially in industrial organizations, and to develop joint projects and training programs by supporting technology development and application projects in collaboration with other private and public institutions.
